More than a year before the 2027 presidential elections, a new poll has once again put the possibilities of Peronism under scrutiny and showed a scenario that generates strong concern within the PJ.
With Sergio Massa as the electoral alternative, Kirchnerism appears far from first place, represented by President Javier Milei, and is even fighting for second place with the communist leader Myriam Bregman.
The survey, conducted by QSocial among 1,550 people between July 8 and July 31, has a margin of error of +/- 2.5%. The study presented a first-round scenario with Massa as the main candidate for Peronism.

In that scenario, Massa reaches 22% of voting intention and is nine points behind Milei, who ranks first with 31%. However, the data that generates the most concern for the Peronist space appears immediately behind: Myriam Bregman reaches 15%.
The result leaves the Peronist candidate far from leadership and also shows that part of the electorate that could contest the opposition space to Milei's government is oriented towards an even more leftist alternative.
Below Massa and Bregman is Juan Schiaretti, with 8%. Meanwhile, 9% of respondents say they would vote blank, while another 15% still have not decided whom they would choose.

Bregman gains ground amid criticism of Kicillof
The poll becomes relevant amid internal discussions within Kirchnerism about who could lead a potential presidential proposal in 2027 and the drain of votes towards other leftist parties.
In this case, the study took Sergio Massa instead of Buenos Aires Governor Axel Kicillof as the main Peronist candidate.
However, even Kicillof has been harshly criticized by his own militants for his stance on the war in Gaza and his opinion of Israel, and many have already begun to migrate from Kirchnerism to Bregman's communism, a recognized anti-Semitic and pro-Palestine activist.
Recently, in response to a question from journalists about the actions of Benjamin Netanyahu's government in the Gaza Strip and his position as a member of the Jewish community, Governor Kicillof avoided a direct criticism of Israel.
Kicillof stated that "we must be prudent", mentioned the historical promotion of peace, and shifted the discussion towards the need to strengthen Mercosur and the geopolitical position of Latin America.
His response generated questioning among leaders and militants of the left and Kirchnerism, who labeled his stance as "lukewarm" or "complicit prudence" and demanded an explicit condemnation of Israel.
The QSocial poll thus reflects a scenario in which Peronism not only faces Milei's strong leadership but also a dispute for second place that could deepen tensions within the opposition space.
