CITA Awards: Córdoba-based winners by category
Harvesting and headers
CITA Award: Mainero 1045 sunflower header
This header incorporates significant improvements over its previous version, increasing working width and allowing work at multiple distances and directions without lateral losses. It improves efficiency in weedy crops, eliminates tilting for transport, and facilitates maintenance thanks to its modular design.
Precision agriculture
CITA Award: Drops Precise Application – Drops Agro (Marcos Juárez)
Technology for sprayers that monitors each nozzle in real time, detects applied droplets, and alerts about failures or blockages. It improves precision, reduces environmental impact, and is a global pioneer.

Special mention: Green Scan – Metalfor (Marcos Juárez)
Selective spraying system that uses NDVI sensors to detect weeds and apply agrochemicals only where needed. It reduces costs and improves operational efficiency with a lightweight, modular design.
Fertilization
Special mention: Ecopure – Ecomanagement (Marcos Juárez)
The country's first slurry injector. It allows sub-surface application of effluents, minimizing losses due to volatilization and improving profitability. It adapts to different soils and crops, with scientific backing that demonstrates its effectiveness.
Spraying
Special mention: VAX – Multipurpose Autonomous Vehicle – Metalfor
Large-scale national autonomous equipment for tasks such as spraying, fertilization, and seeding. It operates with artificial intelligence and remote control, and can work 24/7 with low environmental impact. Its modular design makes it versatile and efficient.
