The Bar Association of Córdoba celebrates 100 years of institutional history this Thursday, August 28. To commemorate the anniversary, a schedule of activities was organized that extends until Friday, coinciding with Lawyer's Day.
At midday, a gala was held at Teatro del Libertador, with the presence of Association authorities, provincial officials, and special guests. The event was led by the president of the institution, Eduardo Bittar.
The schedule also includes the Academic Conference "10 Years Since the Civil and Commercial Code. Assessments and Perspectives", at the Association's headquarters. Distinguished national jurists will participate there.

Presence of jurists and academic activities
Two members of the drafting committee of the Civil and Commercial Code will participate in the conference: Ricardo Lorenzetti and Aída Kemelmajer de Carlucci. Their presentations will address regulatory changes and the impact on legal practice.
The initiative seeks to consolidate the Association's role as a space for professional training and development. The centenary reinforces the institution's importance in Córdoba's legal and democratic life.
Meanwhile, the activities highlight the achievements of Córdoba's lawyers, who over a century have participated in debates of institutional relevance and in the defense of rights and guarantees.

Social celebration and closing of the 100th anniversary
On Friday night, a social gathering will be held in a hall in the south of Córdoba city. It will be the closing of the centenary celebrations with the participation of lawyers and authorities.
The event will bring together professionals from different generations, in a space of camaraderie. The objective is to celebrate the history and project the future of the profession in the province.
