Aerolíneas Argentinas confirmed the launch of new international routes from the interior of the country. The company seeks to capture the high demand for tickets caused by the upcoming Soccer World Cup. The flights will connect Córdoba, Rosario, and Tucumán with Miami starting June 8.
Company sources indicated that the services will make a technical stopover in Punta Cana. This operational decision makes it possible to use the short-range fleet to reach the United States. The strategy aims to facilitate the transportation of fans and tourists without passing through Buenos Aires.
The frequency schedule was defined for the 3 interior cities involved. Córdoba will have 2 weekly flights scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays. Rosario will have 3 weekly departures set for Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
Córdoba contará con 2 vuelos semanales programados para los días lunes y miércoles para la cita mundialista.
Expansion of air service offerings
The province of Tucumán will be added to the schedule with 2 weekly flights on Thursdays and Saturdays. With these additions, the airline will operate a total of 29 flights per week to Miami. This represents a 93% increase in capacity compared with the usual 2025 schedule.
The global offering is complemented by the 20 weekly frequencies that depart from Ezeiza Airport. The 2 direct flights from Córdoba that already operated in the regular schedule will also be maintained. The company is trying to respond to the pressure of seasonal tourist demand.
The route between Córdoba and Miami will continue operating on a regular basis after the end of the sports tournament. The commercial management team is betting on maintaining international connectivity from the inland hub. It remains to be seen whether occupancy levels will justify the operation's cost structure.
Aerolíneas Argentinas confirmó la apertura de nuevas rutas internacionales desde el interior del país.
Connectivity for the Cup
The operational plan includes special flights to Dallas and Kansas for the first phase of the tournament. These services are specifically designed to support the matches of the Argentina National Team. The logistics aim to cover the venues where the national team will play during the month of June.
This expansion of the network is possible thanks to the thorough streamlining of the company's accounts. Aerolíneas Argentinas achieved an operating surplus after years of poor management that caused a chronic deficit. The financial restructuring now makes it possible to invest in new routes without requesting resources from the Treasury.
The company is consolidating itself as an international operator, showing that administrative efficiency delivers concrete results. The market is closely watching this paradigm shift where profitability takes precedence over politics. Taxpayers are no longer financing losses and are seeing a company that competes with its own resources.
