For this reason he was sentenced to three years of probation. He will not go to prison, but he must comply with several requirements to avoid incarceration.

In addition to being sentenced in an abbreviated trial, Medrano was disqualified from driving for three years.
His truck, a Ford Ranger, was seized by the court.
How the officer was after being dragged by a driver in Córdoba
The officer who was the victim of this individual, Corporal Aldo Lencina, managed to recover from the injuries he suffered. There was a private financial settlement between him and the person who dragged him that afternoon.
The case was handled by prosecutor Raúl Garzón, who investigates cases of assaults on uniformed officers, and the conviction was endorsed by Control Judge Juan Fernández López.
A review of the horrifying assault on the officer
The incident happened on Saturday, May 31 at 6:45 p.m. on Circunvalación Avenue, between Juan B. Justo and Alem, in the northern area of Córdoba's capital.
A Ford Ranger was driving through the area with at least four occupants inside.
The 4x4 was stopped at a Caminera checkpoint because, according to reports, it had its low beams off.
It was then that police officer Aldo Lencina approached the driver to request his documents and issue a citation.
Alcohol detected on the driver's breath
Sources in the case indicated that officer Lencina detected alcohol on the driver's breath, so he called his colleague to bring the device to administer the test.
Apparently, the driver refused to hand over the documents while he allegedly began to "play" with whether or not he would give him the license. He drove off.
The officer stated that he never intended to take the key and that he put his hands inside to hold the steering wheel because the truck was starting to move and he needed to hold on to something.
"Die, skinny, die, you son of a bitch," Medrano shouted at Lencina as he accelerated.
The officer was dragged by the truck until he finally let go and fell onto the pavement.
Fortunately, he was not run over by other vehicles speeding by.
Medrano turned himself in 36 hours later.
