Córdoba, epicenter of support for Milei: Mediterránea celebrated its 48th anniversary
The anniversary of Fundación Mediterránea brought together businesspeople, politicians, and officials in Córdoba
The Fundación Mediterránea celebrated its 48th anniversary and marked the occasion with a working lunch in Salsipuedes. More than 400 businesspeople, national officials, and political leaders participated. The event made explicit the clear support for President Javier Milei's administration.
The president of the Fundación, María Pía Astori, highlighted the connection between technical knowledge and public policy. "This is not just an anniversary; it's a reaffirmation of the commitment to applied knowledge, public policy, and plural debate," she stated. The gathering also marked the beginning of a series of federal activities throughout the country.
The president of IERAL, Osvaldo Giordano, highlighted the national government's progress and the role of the Pacto de Mayo. "Sustained growth requires structural reforms," he noted in his economic analysis. In the same vein, José Luis Espert stated, "The transformation has already begun with Javier Milei; now we must bring those reforms to Buenos Aires Province."

A clear sign of alignment with the national direction
Fundación Mediterránea made evident its alignment with the current government's economic program. The support for the reforms was open, technical, and without euphemisms. The invited speakers celebrated fiscal balance and the expansion of the private sector's role.
Guillermo Francos did not avoid definitions and reinforced the official diagnosis. "Argentina is not the same as it was a year and a half ago," he stated during his speech. He asserted that the chosen path must be deepened with greater involvement from the private sector.
The lunch in Córdoba served as a platform to align support and reaffirm an economic model. Business capital, technical teams, and political leadership showed themselves to be in sync. Fundación once again positioned itself as a think tank for a country committed to deep change.
