Córdoba exports innovation: Entrepreneurs from Río Cuarto are already investing in U.S. agriculture
About 30 businesspeople took part in the AgTech Mission 2025
Two Córdoba-based companies linked to the Río Cuarto AgTech cluster shared their experience in development and investment in the United States.
This was part of the AgTech Mission 2025, an initiative coordinated among the private sector, academic institutions, and the provincial government to promote the international integration of agricultural technologies developed in the province.

Seed Matriz, founded in Río Cuarto, is validating for the fourth consecutive year in the United States a proprietary seed encapsulation technology that enables the incorporation of bio-inputs, nutrients, and biological treatments directly into the seed itself.
Río Cuarto technology for the world
"The technology was developed entirely in Río Cuarto, with local talent. Today, it is a commercial product in Argentina, and we are moving forward with trials in the United States, Brazil, and Paraguay," explained its co-founder Jorge Suino, who, together with his partner Federico Colla, was part of the delegation.
Suino and Colla agree in emphasizing that it is about doing the work consistently and showing that the product works.
"With that, we lower credibility barriers toward the product, and seed companies are already seeing it as a possible solution to incorporate biological products and micronutrients directly into the seeds."
Río Cuarto technology for corn cultivation
Meanwhile, Christopher Kilmurray, from the company Ceres Demeter, also based in Río Cuarto, shared his experience with the product FORZA, a technology that combines two microorganisms with a zinc nanoparticle, aimed at corn cultivation.

"We are conducting our first pre-commercial trials in this 2025 season, seeking to demonstrate how the combination of biology and nanotechnology can offer more efficient and sustainable solutions for agricultural production," commented the entrepreneur, who, together with his partner Sergio Bonancea, is developing this venture.
"We have a unique opportunity to boost the AgTech sector from Argentina to the world, with the support of the cluster, universities, and the provincial government," he stated.
The demands of the United States agricultural market
Ceres Demeter is participating in this mission with the goal of starting new business, gaining in-depth knowledge of the North American market's demands, and building alliances with universities and research institutions.
Both companies were part of a delegation of more than 30 entrepreneurs and representatives of the Río Cuarto AgTech ecosystem.
This initiative seeks to strengthen Córdoba's technological presence in the world's main agricultural hubs and position the sector as a provider of innovative and sustainable solutions.
