Córdoba: Agtech Week 2025 has begun in Río Cuarto
The event brings together specialists from Argentina and around the world for a debate on digitalization, artificial intelligence, and new professional profiles
At the grounds of the Sociedad Rural de Río Cuarto, the Agtech Week 2025, an event organized by the Agtech Río Cuarto Cluster, has begun, bringing together specialists from Argentina and around the world for a debate on digitalization, artificial intelligence, and new professional profiles.
Córdoba governor Martín Llaryora and local mayor Guillermo De Rivas led the opening ceremony.
"This is the result of a great deal of work and a recognition of Río Cuarto and the region, which is in the Latin American top 10 in terms of Agtech Clusters," Llaryora stated.

The Cluster's president, Eng. Germán Di Bella, highlighted the effort and vision driving this initiative.
"Since all of this always starts with little money, a lot of effort, and many dreams, what we're trying to show you over these two days is that yes, we can do it, that we can make it happen, that we're obligated to do it because we have the responsibility," he said in his welcome to the more than one thousand attendees.
Di Bella recalled that in 2022, the first investment fund for local startups, Pampa Start, was established by agricultural producers from Río Cuarto, which raised 1.7 million dollars.
"Some of the startups that have received investment are here today," he noted.

The leader and entrepreneur outlined the challenges for the next decade: international student exchanges, technological demonstration fields, development of a venture capital culture, signing of international agreements, and consolidation of events that showcase the region's potential.
"We want you to leave with ideas, to leave motivated, to see things you don't see elsewhere. For us, it's important that this happens in the interior," he stated.
