The urban transportation ticket in Córdoba will increase to $1,720 starting Saturday, November 15, according to the Municipality. The new fare will take effect at 00:00 and will apply to all lines in the system. The update represents an increase of $140 over the previous value.
Until now, traveling by bus in the city cost $1,580, a figure that has remained unchanged since the last fare review. The Municipality indicated that the increase is part of the periodic service update scheme. The measure aims to ensure the system's operability in the face of cost variations.
According to authorities, the review responds to an increase of more than 30% in operating costs. Among the affected areas, they mentioned maintenance, supplies, and unit operations. The update will be incorporated into the usual frequencies without altering routes.

Impact on users and current fares
The municipal Executive indicated that the new agreed fare remains below the technical value. This latter was calculated at $1,955 for the current period. The difference, according to the Mobility area, will be partially absorbed through the municipal financial scheme.
They also clarified that the fare structure will maintain the current format for all users of the urban system. It was also reported that the transition to the new value will be automatic in validated SUBE cards. The recharge points will operate normally during the scheme modification.
A total of 134,000 users who have the Federal Social Fare will pay $774 per ticket, which is equivalent to a 55% discount. This benefit remains in effect with no changes to its requirements or access mechanisms. It includes retirees, people with disabilities, and holders of social programs.

Complementary benefits and accessibility
The Municipality recalled that other local programs related to urban transportation continue to operate. Among them are the Educational Ticket and the Social Worker Ticket. These modalities will remain operational under the conditions already established by current regulations.
The Municipality recommended that users consult official channels to verify values and requirements. It also suggested checking the operation of the SUBE card upon the entry into force of the new fare. Finally, it was indicated that any future modification will be communicated through institutional channels.
