Córdoba says goodbye to Red Bus and is going all-in on Sube
The new card will be the only payment method starting October 1, guaranteeing greater security and control
Since its implementation, more than 200,000 users have migrated to Sube, consolidating widespread use throughout the city of Córdoba. During the transition period, Red Bus and Sube operated in parallel, facilitating user adaptation and reducing inconveniences. This September marks the last month of coexistence before Sube becomes the only digital payment system for urban transportation.
Sube card registration can be completed online through argentina.gob.ar/GO UP or the official app, available for cell phones with NFC technology. To complete activation, the user must place the card on an Automatic Terminal or use the "Check balance" option in the Sube app. Those who do not have the card yet can pick it up and activate it at the following authorized locations:
Palacio 6 de Julio, Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:00 and Saturdays from 08:00 to 14:00.
FAM ticket offices 40 and 41, located at Terminal de Ómnibus T1, from 08:00 to 18:00.
Coniferal ticket office 45, at Terminal de Ómnibus T1, from 09:00 to 16:00.
Tamsau ticket office 85, at the new Terminal de Ómnibus, from 09:00 to 16:00.
SíBus ticket office 86, at the new Terminal de Ómnibus, Monday to Thursday from 09:00 to 16:30 and Friday from 09:00 to 15:30.

Everything you need to know about Sube and social benefits
People over 70 years old can activate the social fare on Sube and access 40 free rides that renew every month. Activation is personal and must be done in person at any of the authorized locations or from bus validators by informing the driver. Those who already have the federal social fare can combine both benefits by using the local rides first and then the 55% federal.
Sube card registration is completed by placing it on Automatic Terminals or through the app by checking balance and activation. Users who have not yet picked up the card can do so at Palacio 6 de Julio, FAM, Coniferal, Tamsau, or SíBus during the established hours. Municipalidad aims for the transition to Sube to be complete and safe, ensuring that no user loses benefits or free rides.
Córdoba educational tickets and the social worker ticket will temporarily keep Red Bus until the full migration of older adults to Sube is completed. Once the transition is finished, the benefits will be integrated into the digital system without altering the current conditions or discounts. Municipalidad ensures that students and workers will maintain safe access to transportation, guaranteeing continuity and coverage during the system change.
