La Derecha Diario Weather in Córdoba: frosts and extreme temperatures are coming
In the coming days, maximum temperatures will rise to 25°C, according to the agrometeorological report from the Grain Exchange
According to the latest agroclimatic report from the Buenos Aires Grain Exchange, extreme temperatures are expected in Córdoba.
Between this Thursday and Wednesday, August 27, maximum temperatures of up to 25 °C (77 °F) will be experienced, while minimums will drop to 5 °C (41 °F), so the risk of frost will be present.
At the beginning of the outlook, winds from the Tropics will blow, producing above-normal temperatures, with intense heat pockets over the far north of the agricultural area, normal readings over the center, and slightly below normal over the south.
Heat in Córdoba in the middle of winter
After several days with readings that did not exceed 10 °C (50 °F), in Córdoba, the maximum temperature during this period will range between 20 °C (68 °F) and 25 °C (77 °F).
The northeast of NOA, much of Mesopotamia, and the south of the Chaco Region will see maximum temperatures above 25 °C (77 °F), with readings above 30 °C (86 °F) and 35 °C (95 °F) toward the north.
The east of NOA, the south of Mesopotamia, the east of Cuyo, and most of the Pampas Region will see maximum temperatures between 20 °C (68 °F) and 25 °C (77 °F), with pockets of higher values.
The center of NOA, the west of Cuyo, and much of Buenos Aires will see maximum temperatures between 15 °C (59 °F) and 20 °C (68 °F).
Rain in Córdoba
According to the report, some rain is expected for the north, west, and part of the east of Córdoba.
Meanwhile, warm front precipitation will occur, without a significant drop in temperature, providing moderate to abundant contributions over the southeast and east-central part of the agricultural area, with its focus around the Río de La Plata area.
Additionally, moderate to scarce readings will occur in the north, but most of the west and north will receive scarce contributions.
