The judicial situation of Fabián Rossi, former husband of Iliana Calabró, is on the verge of a definitive turn. The Supreme Court of Justice rejected the extraordinary appeal filed by his defense, which paves the way for his possible arrest in the coming days.
Rossi was sentenced to four years and six months in prison for money laundering in the well-known "La Rosadita" case, linked to the "K Money Trail". Despite having appealed to the highest court, the ruling was clear: his request was declared "inadmissible".
The Supreme Court's ruling and the defense's argument
The businessman had tried to remain free alleging health problems. However, that strategy did not succeed. The three Supreme Court judges dismissed the arguments and decided not to grant the appeal, in addition to imposing a financial penalty.

Until now, Rossi had been free awaiting a final decision. The Supreme Court's rejection means the ruling is now final and he no longer has any avenues to continue delaying the fulfillment of his sentence.
