Marcelo Tinelli is going through a delicate moment both legally and financially. In recent hours, it became known that the courts ordered the seizure of his assets following a payment demand from an insurance company that was hired during his time as a director at Club San Lorenzo de Almagro. The debt amounts to more than 1 million dollars and is linked to financial commitments that were not settled at the time.
The court document, titled "Order of payment demand, seizure, and auction summons", was revealed by Ángeles Balbiani on Puro Show, and details that payment of 1,149,339.90 dollars is required, plus another 100,000 dollars in interest and legal costs.
According to the journalist, the insurance company chose to take direct action against Tinelli because he appeared as a joint guarantor of the transaction, which makes him personally responsible for the default. Although the claim could have been directed at the club, the company decided to focus on the host, taking advantage of his role in the agreement.

Balbiani also recalled that many of the financial decisions made during his administration—which coincided with the pandemic—included the purchase of players in dollars, something that later became unfeasible for the club's finances. "Today San Lorenzo still has problems", she added.
