After living for several years in Miami, Tomás recently returned to Argentina to fulfill work commitments and support his family.
Since then, he has avoided any public exposure and has not spoken again about the episode that changed his life.
Meanwhile, the investigation in the United States continues and the case remains under judicial secrecy.
In an interview on OLGA, Cris Morena spoke for the first time in detail about her son's current emotional state and that of his closest circle.
The producer stated that the family is still overwhelmed by deep pain, although they are trying to remain united.

"I care a lot about my son, Tomás; Sofía and my grandson Inti. They live abroad, in Miami. I care about their well-being, that they are together, that they support each other," she said.
According to her, that family support has become the main refuge in the absence of Mila.
Cris also explained that the girl's presence continues to be part of their daily lives and that this emotional bond appears in different ways.
"Sometimes it's painful, sometimes it's a smile... It happens to me as it did with Romina: she would appear to me in a strange way and I felt that what appeared was her. The same thing happens to Tomás, to Sofi, and to Inti. They are very close," she said, drawing a parallel with the death of her daughter Romina Yan, which occurred in 2010.
How is the investigation progressing in the United States?
The U.S. justice system continues to analyze the circumstances of the boating accident in which the young woman died. During the first days of October, testimonies emerged that provided new information about the collision between the barge and the sailboat in which Mila was located.
According to two witnesses, the larger vessel was traveling at high speed, which made it almost impossible to see the sailboat before the impact. Another man stated that the captain tried to stop, although it was already too late. So far, the authorities have not concluded the investigation and the family remains awaiting official developments.
