Cristian Traverso shared his opinion on the conflict between Zenón and Boca, and gave him some advice.
The former player and current panelist analyzed the situation of the midfielder, who is looking to move to Europe while the club is waiting for a good offer for him
Cristian Traverso, world champion with Boca and now a commentator on TyC Sports, spoke about Kevin Zenón's complex situation, who is experiencing days of uncertainty at the club after receiving offers from Europe.
The midfielder, sought after by teams such as Olympiacos of Greece, CSKA of Russia and Alavés of Spain, was not considered by Miguel Ángel Russo in recent matches because, according to the coach, he was not focused on Boca. The former Unión player was not even drafted against Banfield or Aldosivi, which reflected the coach's firm decision to sideline him until his situation is clarified.

The coach's stance is also explained by the decision the player made to inform the club, through Chelo Delgado, of his desire to move to the Old Continent. To make matters worse, the club rejected all these offers, arguing that they are too low, so Zenón will not only be unable to leave, but he will also have to stay despite not being in the coach's plans.
In this scenario, Traverso, far from talking about punishment, gave the player some advice: "I don't think it's a punishment. Zenón must understand that Boca made an investment in him and will want to make money in the event of a transfer."
How much Boca is asking for Zenón
The proposals received so far have not convinced the management. Olympiacos's offer was rejected for being considered too low, as were those from other European clubs.
According to journalist Leandro "Tato" Aguilera, Boca is seeking around 10 million dollars for the midfielder's transfer. It should be clarified that Unión de Santa Fe still retains 20% of the player's rights, keeping part of the final amount from a potential sale.
