The Delegation of Argentine Jewish Associations (DAIA) presented its annual technical report focused on analyzing discrimination, Judeophobia, and antisemitism at the Legislature of the Province of Córdoba. The official document rigorously systematizes the formal complaints recorded during the course of 2025 and the period elapsed in 2026 in different venues and areas of the province. The presentation of the research was led in the chamber by Adrián Ganzburg, president of DAIA Filial Córdoba, alongside Ileana Guaglino, a provincial legislator belonging to the Justicialist Party bloc.

The statistical compilation revealed that a total of 25 episodes of this nature were recorded within the territory of the province of Córdoba during the year 2024. Meanwhile, throughout the entire 2025 cycle, 18 formal complaints were filed with the relevant authorities and the Jewish community organization itself. In addition, the 2026 survey recorded 7 cases classified with sufficient content up to the operational cutoff date set for August 8.

Analyzing in detail the classification of complaints according to their specific nature, the technical report identified 8 cases directly linked to messages referring to Israel and the situation in Gaza. At the same time, authorities counted 5 episodes strictly categorized as antisemitism or harassment towards members of the community. The statistical list presented by the organization was completed with 5 incidents of Nazi symbolism or exaltation, 3 urban graffiti, and 2 events of threats and incitement to violence.

Impact on faculties and schools

In the hallways and classrooms of the National University of Córdoba (UNC), there is a marked climate of antisemitism and hostility towards the State of Israel constantly promoted by Kirchnerist and far-left student groups. These groups disseminate anti-Zionist discourses, posters, and banners expressing support for the regimes in Gaza and Palestine while promoting messages of hate against Israel. This context of ongoing tension within the university environment preceded the various events that ultimately led to the formal complaints filed with provincial authorities.

In this institutional framework, in August 2025, the placement of signage and banners with messages referring to the conflict in the Middle East was formally reported within the University City. Political interventions using terms related to genocide and famine were specifically detected in the buildings of the faculties of Psychology, Law, and Arts at UNC. Following the institutional presentation made by DAIA Filial Córdoba through a formal letter addressed to the deans, the material with the signage was removed from the walls of the academic units.

The document presented to the Legislative Power of Córdoba also included a highly serious incident recorded in November 2025 at the Santa Ana high school. A member of the school community reported that a History teacher imitated the figure of Adolf Hitler by making characteristic gestures and representing his mustache in front of his students. The Ministry of Education of the Province of Córdoba intervened in the case, ordering the immediate suspension of the teacher, the requirement for public apologies, and the provision of a class on the Shoah.

Judicial investigations and ongoing cases

Among the most impactful institutional complaints contained in the technical presentation is an incident detected in January 2026 by the Anti-Terrorism Unit of the Police of the Province of Córdoba. The police division tracked posts on the social network X where a teacher from the National University of Villa María referred to the attacks against AMIA and the Israeli Embassy. The expressions on the virtual platform contained a threat regarding the potential perpetration of a third violent attack, prompting the entity to request the activation of the judicial recess.

The case opened following the corresponding complaint is currently processing its actions in the Federal Justice of Villa María to investigate the alleged commission of a serious criminal offense. In general terms, the totality of the analyzed data shows that 64% of the recorded episodes occurred in in-person environments within educational institutions or public spaces in the province. On the other hand, digital channels and messaging applications accounted for the remaining percentage, with the WhatsApp platform standing out as the social network with the highest number of records, totaling 4 cases.

Currently, there are 5 formal judicial investigations underway initiated by the entity before the relevant jurisdictions to clarify the various reported incidents. The ongoing cases encompass publications with explicit threats, discriminatory and racist expressions, denial of the attacks, and verbal assaults made through a group call on WhatsApp. The authorities of the delegation emphasized that the survey aims to transform scattered episodes into systematically organized technical information to allow for an objective analysis of the evolution of the hate phenomenon throughout Córdoba society.
