Diego Maradona's daughter testified in the trial over his death and revealed serious irregularities
Dalma Maradona gave a harsh testimony in the trial investigating her father's death,Diego Maradona. In her statement, she questioned the medical actions and confessed that she never knew who operated on him.
The hearing took place on Tuesday, April 15 as part of the judicial process attempting to determine responsibilities surrounding the former footballer's death.
Questions about medical care
Guido Záffora revealed on DDM (América) details of the statement. Dalma expressed that she perceived her father to be in poor condition before his hospitalization. According to her account, she noticed him disoriented and having difficulty communicating through video calls. She also stated that, along with her sister, they opposed his participation in an event at the Gimnasia stadium due to his delicate health condition.

The actress stated that she did not have fluent contact with the professionals in charge of the treatment. "I didn't personally know Luque, or Díaz, or Cosachov", she said, adding that she saw them for the first time at the Clínica Olivos.
Additionally, she stated that her family was informed that Diego would enter Ipensa for tests, but he was later transferred to another institution by decision of the neurosurgeon Leopoldo Luque.
Suspicions, recordings, and an imposed decision
Dalma declared that Stinfale insisted that Diego needed to be operated on urgently. She also recounted that, along with her sisters Gianinna and Jana, they took turns accompanying him during the hospitalization at Clínica Olivos. "I don't know who operated on my dad," she lamented indignantly.

Regarding the mode of care, she indicated that Luque pushed for the idea of home hospitalization with full medical coverage, including nurses and an ambulance. However, she reported that the meeting where this strategy was defined was recorded without her knowledge.
Finally, she accused the medical team of negligence: "They did nothing to solve the health problem he had," she concluded.
Dalma Maradona's statement added new elements to the judicial case attempting to clarify whether there was malpractice in the last days of the Argentine idol.
