Marixa Balli's participation in MasterChef Celebrity did not go unnoticed. Shortly after joining Telefe's culinary reality show, the former vedette was at the center of highly tense moments during filming, and rumors of a heated confrontation with one of the judges began to circulate strongly in the entertainment world. In recent hours, Damián Betular broke his silence and gave his version of what happened.

Marixa's departure and rumors of conflict

The first sign of the crisis came from Ángel de Brito, who revealed on his social media that "Marixa left crying because of something the judge said to her." On his show LAM, the journalist expanded on the information: "She had a disagreement with one of the judges after the feedback. She did not like what was said to her and left very upset. I was told she cried, although she claims she did not."

De Brito also said that this would not have been the only tense moment. "She had another episode, also very heated, even when she had to wear the black apron. She doesn't like having her mistakes pointed out," he stated, suggesting that the atmosphere on set became tense during the first recordings.

Damián Betular spoke about the confrontations he had with Marixa Balli on MasterChef Celebrity.

When asked by a reporter from Sálvese quien pueda (América TV), Damián Betular was questioned about the situation and about how he experienced the alleged differences with Marixa Balli. "Did Marixa feel mistreated by someone on the jury? Did she cry?" he was asked.

With surprise and some bewilderment, the judge replied: "Did she cry? But I saw her happy yesterday. Maybe there was some confrontation or a moment when she was told things did not go well; it could be something like that," he said, downplaying the situation.

Then, Betular explained that the first weeks of competition are usually the most difficult for celebrities making their debut in televised cooking. "I saw her doing very well. In the first week, it is sometimes a bit tough to tell them they do not cook that well, but well... those who start like that later bounce back. This is one good day, one bad day. Marixa should not cry, she should have a good time," he said in his characteristic friendly tone
