Marixa Balli broke her silence after the scandal on LAM and targeted the production team
The panelist spoke after she was not called to replace Ángel de Brito as the host
Marixa Balli decided to speak candidly about the conflict that arose on LAM (América TV) after she was not called to replace Ángel de Brito as host following his absence due to an injury. Invited to the show A la Barbarossa (Telefe), the panelist addressed the issue assertively and denied being jealous or upset about the decision.
The controversy began on July 9, when De Brito had an accident while playing padel and had to be absent from the show. Instead of being replaced by one of the longtime panelists such as Marixa or Yanina Latorre, the hosting duties were taken over by Pepe Ochoa, which surprised the show's followers.

"It bothers me a lot when people say 'you're angry' or 'you look serious.' That's not it. Sometimes things just happen," Marixa said during the interview with Georgina Barbarossa. She explained how she found out about the last-minute change: "They called me an hour before to tell me I was going to host. I was four blocks from the studio, I arrived, parked, and then they told me I wouldn't be doing it after all because of the day's topics. That bothered me."
Regarding the production's reasoning, which justified the change because of "hot topics" such as Mauro Icardi's life or Nico Vázquez's separation, Balli was blunt: "We've been talking about that for a thousand years. These are topics I can easily handle. If I don't know something, I ask. I have no problem."
Additionally, the former vedette confessed that what hurt her most was the way the decision was communicated to her: "They told me 'don't take it the wrong way,' as if they thought I couldn't string two words together. I felt underestimated."

She also addressed Yanina Latorre's comments, who suggested she was jealous for not being chosen to host. "How could I be jealous? Do you know the things I have in this brain? My mind can't handle being jealous about that," she replied ironically.
Finally, Marixa Balli concluded with a forceful reflection: "I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to host LAM, it was a wonderful experience. But that's it. I don't want to do it anymore. I'll stay on as a panelist, but don't count on me to replace anyone."
