The judge of Telefe's competition was asked about the topic in an interview with Los Profesionales de Siempre. He explained how the filming took place and what he thought about the tone of the promotional campaigns.

Damián Betular's statement: "I didn't know there were so many references"
When asked about the alleged references to Icardi in the advertisements, Betular appeared surprised: "I didn't know there were so many references", he admitted. He then explained how the segments were recorded: "I arrived, the script was there, and there was a bowl with peanuts. We recorded that one and many more".
The pastry chef insisted that he was unaware of the nods to the footballer: "I swear I didn't see anything you're telling me about. We recorded all that over two days and there are several fragments", he said with humor.

Betular also spoke about Wanda Nara, who hosts the reality show. "She takes it with humor. Keep in mind there's an ex-husband in the reality show and you're going to see very interesting things because she downplays all that part", referring to Maxi López.
The judge emphasized that the host keeps a relaxed and fun attitude toward the jokes and speculation surrounding her personal life.
