One of the first to appear was Osvaldo Fassetta, also accused of aggravated concealment. During the hearing, the accused chose to refrain from making a statement after hearing the charges brought by the prosecution.
His defense attorney, Eduardo Medina Allende, questioned the accusation and stated that the evidence supporting it needs to be thoroughly analyzed.
"The charge is based on phone communications and statements made to Agostina's mother that we will clarify because they have been taken out of context," the lawyer asserted after the hearing.
Additionally, he announced that he would submit a written request for an extension of the interrogation so that his client could provide his version of the events and answer all necessary questions.
The investigation into the murder of Agostina Vega is at a decisive stage. This Friday, Soledad Andreani will be questioned by prosecutor Raúl Garzón as part of the case that seeks to clarify the crime of the 16-year-old girl found dead in an open field in Córdoba.
