Delta Force arrives on PS5 and Xbox with Black Hawk Down: release date and content

Delta Force, the iconic tactical shooter that defined an era on PC, will debut on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series next August 19.

The game's arrival on consoles will include the legendary Black Hawk Down campaign along with additional content, new maps, operators, and revamped mechanics, which promise to solidify its comeback with strength on the new generation.

What Delta Force includes in its arrival on consoles

The main attraction for many fans will be the Black Hawk Down campaign, based on the famous military operation in Somalia during the '90s. It is an immersive story mode, with a tactical focus, that recreates real missions with a high level of detail and combines action with strategic planning.

In addition, Tempest, a new operator, will be available at no cost for users who own the Battle Pass. Tempest features an advanced exoskeleton that enhances mobility, allowing for unprecedented evasive maneuvers in the game so far. This inclusion aims to reinforce tactical gameplay in enclosed spaces and close-quarters combat.

Maps, dynamic weather, and exclusive content

With the launch of the Break season, Delta Force will add two new playable maps on PC that could later arrive on consoles:

• Tide Prison: an infiltration map in a high-security prison located on a remote island. Ideal for players who prefer a more stealthy and coordinated approach.
• Cyclone: set in a tropical environment with dynamic weather, this map introduces storms and unexpected rain that affect visibility and combat strategy.

Additionally, vehicles such as jet skis and new weapons, like compound bows, are integrated into the experience to expand the player's tactical options.
