The clash between Diego Leucoand Horacio Pagani added a new chapter after the statements by the Luzu TV host. The exchange took place after Pagani's remarks about the role of women journalists in soccer.

In a conversation with Intrusos, Diego Leuco explained why he decided to question his colleague. "I expressed a very critical and harsh opinion about what happened regarding his statements about Morena Beltrán and the place of sports journalists", he maintained.
As he clarified, his intervention had to do with his role as the host of a current affairs program. "I expressed a critical opinion about a situation, as anyone who hosts a program where current issues are debated does", he emphasized.
Leuco also referred to Pagani's subsequent response. "I didn't watch the video because it's very long. That's it, everyone has the right to get angry, feel offended, or express an opinion", he pointed out.
With a firm tone, he concluded: "To be honest, I'm not worried about or interested in what he thinks of me. It doesn't take up my time either".

When he was asked about Pagani's statements regarding his father, Alfredo Leuco, the journalist was clear. "I don't know if it's true that my dad used to chase him to ask him for a job, but if it were true, is it wrong to ask for a job?", he stated.
