The investigation into the triple femicide of Brenda Del Castillo, Morena Verdi, and Lara Gutiérrez has entered a key stage. In recent hours, the accused Celeste Guerrero expanded her statement before the court and provided details that directly link Tony Janzen Valverde Victoriano, also known as "Pequeño J", to Lara's death. Her testimony, which doesn't include requests for judicial benefits, has had a strong impact on the case file.
According to the lawyer for one of the victims' families, Diego Storto, Guerrero confirmed and expanded on her previous statements: "She recounted some rather grim details regarding Lara's death, that 'Pequeño J' suffocated her," the attorney specified.

The information was reported on TN by journalist Marcelo Peláez. "The depositions have ended, some refused to speak. Who spoke again? Celeste. The prosecutor is cautious with her because in her first statement she said she hadn't been in the house when the three girls were killed. Now she spoke again based on what, according to her, others told her, especially Miguel Ángel Villanueva," he explained.
According to her account, when Guerrero returned to the house, she saw Villanueva with blood on his hands. "He replied that it was because he had to use a screwdriver to attack one of the girls when she tried to escape," Peláez recounted.
