Banco Provincia's virtual wallet renewed discounts and added special benefits in September 2024
Banco Provincia has renewed the benefits of its virtual wallet Cuenta DNI for the month of September 2025. Users will be able to access new discounts and keep several of the already known ones.
Among the featured promotions is a special benefit for the bank's anniversary, as well as discounts at supermarkets, butcher shops, fairs, universities, and more. There will also be payment facilities at participating stores.

Banco Provincia Anniversary Promotion
For the anniversary celebrations, on Saturday, September 6 and Sunday, September 7, there will be a 30% discount at food and beverage establishments. The cap will be $8,000 per person, equivalent to purchases of up to $26,700.
Other Cuenta DNI benefits in September 2025
Butcher shops, poultry shops, and fish markets: 35% discount on Saturdays 6 and 20, with a cap of $6,000 per day ($17,000 in purchases).
Local stores: 20% discount every Friday, with a cap of $4,000 ($20,000 in purchases).
Bonaerense fairs and markets: 40% discount every day, up to $6,000 per week ($15,000 in purchases).
Universities: 40% discount at participating stores, with a cap of $6,000 per week per person.
Gas cylinders: 40% discount on purchase and refill, with a cap of $12,000 per month ($30,000 in purchases).
Non-food local stores: 3 interest-free installments every day with Visa and/or Mastercard cards linked to the app.

How to download and activate Cuenta DNI
The app can be downloaded for free from Google Play or App Store. Once installed, the user must:
Scan the front and back of the DNI within the frame on the screen.
Validate identity with facial recognition, verified by RENAPER.
Complete personal information and link the bank account.
Choose the protection method: password, fingerprint, or facial recognition.
Banco Provincia clarified that if validation is not completed on the first attempt, the system allows the process to be repeated within 72 business hours. The app can only be configured on one device at a time.
