The organization highlights the need for economic recovery and employment policies

The movement Democracia Sí expressed its support for Daniel Noboa's presidential candidacy in the 2025 elections. The organization emphasized the urgency of implementing an economic reactivation policy and massive job creation, for the benefit of the country's most vulnerable sectors.

In a statement, Democracia Sí highlighted the difficulties faced during the electoral process, denouncing the exclusion of its candidates for assembly members and the attacks received, which they attribute to correísmo.

"This electoral campaign had special characteristics," they noted, alluding to the obstacles in presenting nominations at the national and Andean levels.

The organization described the attacks against it as "deliberate and systematic", claiming they came from correísmo, which they also accused of promoting an authoritarian project.

According to Democracia Sí, Luisa González's candidacy represents a vision that criminalized social protest, attacked freedom of expression, and concentrated power in search of impunity for those responsible for previous administrations with "disastrous results."

In contrast, Democracia Sí positively valued Daniel Noboa's proposal, highlighting his focus on comprehensive security policies, combating organized crime, and strengthening key sectors such as public health, education, and social security.

The movement reaffirmed that the country needs leadership to face its challenges and promote inclusive development.

With this support, Democracia Sí aligns with Daniel Noboa's vision to build a safer Ecuador, with better employment opportunities and social development, distancing itself from authoritarian proposals that limit citizen freedoms.
