Commerce employees receive a salary increase in December, which includes the current collective bargaining increase, the non-remunerative bonus, and half-year bonus. This is the last installment of the agreement signed between FAECYS and the business chambers, which is in effect from July through December 2025.
The agreement applied a 6% increase divided into monthly installments of 1% and fixed non-remunerative amounts of $40,000 per month. The amount corresponding to December will be incorporated into the base salary starting January 2026.

What the December salary includes for Commerce Employees
In addition to the monthly salary, workers receive:
Non-remunerative bonus of $40,000 per category.
Half-year bonus (second installment of the SAC).
Additional payments for seniority, attendance, and overtime.
The half-year bonus must be paid by December 18. However, by law, four business days are added, so the deadline is extended to December 24.
How the December half-year bonus is calculated
If the employee worked the entire semester, the highest salary of the period is taken and divided by two. If the employee did not work all six months, the calculation is proportional to the months worked.

The formula is simple: (salary / 12) × months worked. For example, if $100,000 was earned and six months were worked: (100,000 / 12) × 6 = $50,000.
