In November 2025, commerce employees will receive a new salary increase, in line with what was agreed upon in the sector's latest collective bargaining agreement. In addition, the fixed sum of $40,000 paid monthly will remain in effect and will be maintained until December.
With this update, base salaries vary according to category and position, maintaining differences between administrative, sales, cashier, and maintenance functions. Below are the updated values that will apply starting this month.

Who will receive proportional payment
Employees who work reduced shifts or part-time will receive both the increase and the fixed sum in proportion to the hours worked. The measure seeks to maintain equity among the sector's different employment arrangements.
How the salary scheme will continue until the end of the year
The agreement signed between FAECYS and the business chambers established that, between July and December 2025, a 1% monthly increase will be granted. In addition, a fixed sum of $40,000 will be granted monthly.
