FAECYS published the new salary scale for the second half of 2025. It includes monthly increases and a fixed amount for each month for commerce employees.

The agreement includes remunerative increases of 1% between July and December, plus $40,000 per month for each worker. It is still awaiting approval.

How much are the increases for commerce employees in 2025?

The new agreement signed by FAECYS with CAC, CAME, and UDECA establishes a 6% increase staggered over six months. It has a 1% monthly increase between July and December 2025.

In addition, there is a fixed monthly amount of $40,000 for all employees under the agreement, also applicable in each of those months.

Who signed the collective bargaining agreement?

The signing took place on June 26, 2025, between:

• The Argentine Federation of Commerce and Services Employees (FAECYS)
• The Argentine Chamber of Commerce (CAC)
• The Argentine Confederation of Medium-Sized Enterprises (CAME)
• The Union of Commercial Entities (UDECA)

FAECYS emphasized that this agreement aims to "maintain purchasing power without affecting the activity of SMEs."

Month-by-month breakdown of the increases

The increases apply to the June 2025 base salary and are not cumulative:

• July: 1% + fixed amount $40,000
• August: 1% + fixed amount $40,000
• September: 1% + fixed amount $40,000
• October: 1% + fixed amount $40,000
• November: 1% + fixed amount $40,000
• December: 1% + fixed amount $40,000

The fixed amount will be remunerative and will be added to the base salary with the January 2026 pay.

What happens with reduced workdays?

In those cases, the fixed amount of $40,000 will be proportional to the number of hours worked. In addition, it will be included in the calculation of:

• Annual bonus
• Vacation
• Overtime
• Severance pay

What was agreed in the April collective bargaining?

The new agreement complements the one signed in April. In that agreement, a non-remunerative increase of 5.4% was established on the March 2025 base salaries. It was applied in three installments:

• April: 1.9%
• May: 1.8%
• June: 1.7%

Non-remunerative fixed amounts were also added, as follows:

• $35,000 in April
• $40,000 in May
• $40,000 in June
• $40,000 in July

When is the fixed amount added to the salary?
