A muscle injury sidelined him from the first matches of the Clausura and, despite returning in the clásico against Argentinos Juniors, he hasn't yet regained his starting spot under Kily González.
At Boca, however, Taborda was never able to establish himself. Since his debut on July 25, 2021, against Banfield, he has only played 17 matches in blue and gold and hasn't scored any goals. He was loaned to Platense for the first time in 2022, returned in 2023, but once again left on loan. In this window, the possibility of recalling him was considered, although Miguel Ángel Russo didn't request him.
