The police operations carried out in different areas of Córdoba resulted in at least 15 people being detained for causes related to urban violence. The raids were coordinated by the General Directorate of Criminal Investigations during the early hours of Wednesday. According to reports, the procedures aimed to stop criminal acts related to robberies and assaults.In the Yapeyú neighborhood, more than 20 interventions were carried out, resulting in six detentions confirmed by the authorities. At the provincial level, the total number of procedures exceeded 70, reflecting an unusually large deployment. Security Minister Juan Pablo Quinteros stated in radio interviews that cases of urban violence are a cause for concern due to access to weapons. The security forces indicated that among the seized items were firearms, replicas, bladed weapons, and several vehicles. These results are considered key to weakening the actions of criminal groups in the most conflictive neighborhoods. They also emphasized that controls will continue in the coming weeks with the same intensity.
