After nine months together, Fernanda Iglesias confirmed her separation from Javier, the man she had met on a dating app. The journalist shared details about the breakup on television and surprised viewers with a confession that revealed a strong political contrast.
During her appearance on the show Puro Show (El Trece), Iglesias explained that the breakup did not have a specific trigger, but rather several subtle disagreements that ultimately wore down the relationship.
"It had to end," she said emphatically. According to her account, they gradually stopped talking and the bond faded away without the need for intense arguments.
Ideological differences that caused discomfort
One of the most striking moments was when host Pampito asked her if they had argued about politics. Iglesias did not deny it and delivered a phrase that went viral: "I wanted to 'gorilear' and I couldn't."
Although she did not go into detail, she confirmed that her ex was a Kirchnerist. That fact marked an essential difference, which for her was insurmountable. The journalist emphasized that although the relationship was not toxic, it was not completely free either: she could not express herself politically with ease.
"He was not bad to me, he was a good guy," she clarified. However, it seems that the ideological aspect weighed more than she wanted to admit at first.
