FIFA announced that the Club World Cup trophy will be in Argentina

The revamped model of the club world championship trophy will arrive in Buenos Aires during the week of the Superclásico, and both River and Boca will receive it

The club tournament to be held in the United States in June is shaping up to be the most important event of the soccer year due to the magnitude of bringing together the 32 best teams on the planet. In this context, FIFA decided to get ahead and has already set the date when the trophy will visit Argentine territory.

The only teams from the country that will participate in the tournament will be River and Boca and they will have the honor of welcoming the trophy, which completely changes the old version used in the last Club World Cups.

The Club World Cup trophy will first arrive at the Más Monumental, where it will remain from April 25 to 27. Then, it will be La Bombonera's turn, where it will be on display on the 29th and 30th of the same month. The choice of these dates is no coincidence, as  in between, on Sunday, the Superclásico will be played at 3:30 PM for the 15th round of the 2025 Torneo Apertura at River's stadium.
