Boca's first departure: Atlético Nacional bought Jorman Campuzano's transfer rights
After a year on loan, the Colombian midfielder will sign a contract for three seasons. At Boca, he hadn't been considered since April, despite having a contract until 2026
After several days of the transfer window, Boca confirmed its first departure for the second half of the year. This concerns a player who had not been at the club for a year: Jorman Campuzano. After spending a year on loan at Atlético Nacional, the Colombian team purchased the central midfielder's rights.
At the beginning of 2019, Campuzano became a reinforcement for Boca after the club paid 4 million dollars to trigger his release clause from the Medellín team.
During his time with Xeneize, he had two stints: between 2019 and 2022, and between 2023 and 2024, since in between he was loaned to Giresunspor of Türkiye. However, in mid-2024, as he was not being considered, he returned to Atlético Nacional on a one-year loan.

Now it has become known that the Medellín club has once again purchased his rights. According to journalist Germán García Grova, the deal was closed at 1.7 million dollars for 100% of his rights. One noteworthy fact is that Campuzano, being a naturalized Argentine, did not occupy a foreign player spot in Boca's squad.
Meanwhile, the midfielder will sign a three-season contract with Atlético Nacional. At Xeneize, he had a contract until mid-2026, but he was not going to be considered by Miguel Ángel Russo.

How long had it been since he last played for Boca?
On April 4, 2024, against Nacional Potosí in the first matchday of the Copa Sudamericana. After that match, Diego Martínez decided not to include him anymore, so he did not participate in the next five matches of the continental tournament or in the subsequent matches of the domestic tournament, before leaving on loan to Colombia.
