Flavio Azzaro broke his silence and replied directly to his former colleague Andrés Ducatenzeiler, after the latter suggested that the channel where he works is financed by La Cámpora and Mauricio Macri.

In an extensive statement, the journalist appeared visibly upset and spoke without filters: "When you say that this channel, because you said that, is backed by La Cámpora and Macri, that's when you're directly getting into something that you know, first of all, it's already personal, because you're getting into something that you know really pisses me off."

Azzaro recalled the years he shared with Ducatenzeiler on "El Loco y el Cuerdo" and reproached him for bringing up a topic that he knows bothers him deeply. "You know what bothers me or what doesn't bother me, just as I know what bothers you and that's why I don't talk about it all the time. I'm not going to do it because I want to focus on the good things that happened to us." However, he clarified that he doesn't intend to remain silent: "Now, if you get involved, we're going to play. I have no problem playing. If you play hard, I play hard, with first and last name."

The journalist asked for an end to talk about alleged editorial lines within the channel and categorically denied that there are editorial constraints. "The problem is that you have to decode that, Andrés, that doesn't happen here. On this channel, I don't tell Renzo to say A, or Fede to say B, they say whatever they want, and what's more, I'll tell you something else, Duca. You get into hot topics, and if any of the guys here ever want to counter you, talk, give their opinion, they're going to say it, they're going to say it, do you know why? Because they can say whatever they want, Andrés."

He also pointed out a difference between Ducatenzeiler and another member of the program: "There's a difference between Adri Sánchez in this case and you. Adri Sánchez mentioned you. You say, Paka-Paka. Don't worry, Andrés, as if I would send you a legal notice. Seriously? I won't send you a legal notice. No, wait, say CEF. Say CEF, say Azzaro is bought. With first and last name. As I would say if I thought you were bought. But I don't think you're bought. And I mean it."

Azzaro also stated that he understands his former colleague's work decisions, although he hinted at some distrust: "I think you needed the money or you're interested in working at a channel, and that's why you go and work. You work because you want to do it at that channel. That's it. Whether it's Toviggino's or not, I don't know. Honestly, I don't know. I might think so, but I also don't know if you're told what you have to say because it's Toviggino's. I sense from what I know about you that you won't say what others want. I sense."

In that tone, the journalist expressed a certain personal disappointment: "Sometimes I don't recognize you a little. Sometimes I don't recognize you a little because are you really going to tell me that I'm bought by Macri. Because when you talk about me suing Grondona, you know all the things that happened to me for saying what I say and said."

Finally, Azzaro ended with a direct and forceful message: "So, Andrés Ducatenzeiler, with first and last name, because that's how you handle things in life, since you talk about Mono's codes, Sapo Pepe's, Mono Burgos's. You talk about all that. I, first and last name."

Azzaro's strong response makes clear the rift between the two, who shared the screen for more than two years on "El Loco y el Cuerdo." So far, Ducatenzeiler has not publicly replied to the statements.
