Flavio Mendoza shared how he is doing after suffering a fall during one of his shows.

The dancer experienced a dramatic moment last Friday night while performing his circus show

Flavio Mendoza experienced a dramatic moment last Friday night while performing his circus show Abre tus alas in Puerto Madero. During a high-risk routine, he lost his balance, struck a lighting device, and fell from several meters (several feet) high in front of the astonished audience.

The accident occurred just as the show was beginning, when Mendoza was suspended in the air performing one of his acrobatics. According to Florencia Cabrera, a former Gran Hermano participant who was present, the artist "hit a light and was left lying on the floor." The situation caused panic among the spectators, who were evacuated as firefighters, ambulances, and medical personnel arrived.

After the impact, Mendoza was immediately taken to Clínica Zabala, in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Belgrano. There, he received care for severe blows to his neck and back. Fortunately, medical tests ruled out serious injuries. Those close to him clarified that there were no technical failures in the safety systems, but that the accident occurred when the choreographer lost stability after colliding with the spotlight. The fall was partially cushioned by a safety net installed beneath the structure.

On Saturday afternoon, Flavio reappeared on his social media with a message that reassured his followers. "Hello everyone, how are you? I know everyone was worried about the accident. I was just discharged from the clinic and I want to thank all the doctors who treated me so quickly," he said in a video posted on his Instagram account.

Although he acknowledged that he is "in a lot of pain" and under medication, Mendoza assured that he will continue with the performances. "It wasn't that serious, thank God. I want to say that the shows will go on as usual. There are a few things I won't be able to do because I'm quite stiff, but I'll be there. I'm not reckless; if I couldn't do it, I wouldn't risk it," he explained.

Abre tus alas is one of Flavio Mendoza's most ambitious productions, combining extreme acrobatics, aquatic acts, and impressive visual effects. Every night, the show attracts hundreds of people who enjoy a unique sensory experience.

The accident raised everyone's concern, but the artist's commitment to his audience remains intact. "People motivate me and make me feel good. So I look forward to seeing everyone at the circus," he concluded.
