The 'tropical' heat wave continues in the AMBA: Matías Bertolotti's forecast
Matías Bertolotti anticipated another stifling day in the AMBA, with 35°C (95°F) and a heat index above 40°C (104°F).
The meteorologist Matías Bertolotti confirmed that this Thursday, March 6 will be another stifling day in the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires (AMBA), with extreme temperatures and high thermal sensation.
"Already with 30 degrees of thermal sensation and these clouds that come and go, we continue with a very humid, equatorial, and tropical environment," he explained.

Scorching Thursday: what to expect today
Bertolotti detailed that the temperature will reach 35°C (95°F), but the thermal sensation could exceed 40°C (104°F). He also highlighted that the cloudiness will be variable, with "clouds and instability," although for now, there is no forecast of storms in the City and the Suburbs. "The storms remain to the west and south," he clarified.
Precautions are recommended: "If you have errands that aren't urgent and you can postpone them until next week, don't hesitate. Next week will be completely normal in terms of temperatures."
How to prepare for extreme heat
Under these conditions, Bertolotti suggested:
- Wear light and light-colored clothing.
- Stay hydrated constantly and avoid prolonged exposure to the sun.
- Take special care of children and the elderly, who are most affected by these temperatures.
- Be alert to possible power outages, which worsen the situation.
