According to Bertolotti, the day will start with high temperatures and strong sunshine. Although there will be some cloudiness, the heat will be felt strongly throughout the region.
In the afternoon, the thermometer will reach 34°C (93°F), but the combination with humidity will generate a much higher heat index, around 40°C or more (104°F or more). "A lot of heat, a lot of humidity, unbearable," warned the meteorologist.
