The Forthing S7 uses a plug-in hybrid system with extended range (REEV). It features a 1.5 gasoline engine with 99 HP and 132 Nm that acts as an electric generator.
This engine does not transmit torque to the wheels. The power to move the vehicle comes from a front electric motor with 206 HP and 310 Nm, while the drive is rear.
The system uses a 28.4 kWh battery. According to the reported data, it claims 200 kilometers of electric range and a combined range of 1,050 kilometers under the NEDC cycle.
Among the standard features, the Forthing S7 includes 19-inch wheels and seven airbags.
It also has various driver assistance systems (ADAS). The launch material indicates that the complete equipment is listed in the technical specifications.
The sedan belongs to Forthing, a Chinese brand that has been selling SUVs and minivans in Argentina since December 2025.
