Foster Gillett sent Estudiantes 5 million dollars, half of what was agreed.
After several back and forths, Pincha finally received 5 million dollars from the American businessman.
Yesterday, Foster Gillett sent Estudiantes half of the loan, about 5 million dollars that had been agreed upon while advancing in the overall fund project.
The Pincha's management confirmed this morning the accreditation of the transferred money in their account and it brings some relief to the climate of uncertainty regarding payment defaults to other teams. From the club, they wanted to be as cautious as possible and would only make the announcement once the money was in their coffers.

With the first part of the loan already deposited, the second part, around 4.7 million dollars, is still pending, and details about how and when it will be transferred are unknown. The loan was made in two payments to facilitate the triangulation of money, which comes from London.
Estudiantes is allowed to strengthen until Wednesday, March 12 thanks to the departures of Emanuel Dall'Aglio to Cerrito of Uruguay and Nehuén Benedetti to New York Red Bulls of MLS, and with the arrival of Ramiro Funes Mori from River after gaining experience. In that sense, the club reported that the deposited money will not be used to sign Hernán López Muñoz, a player desired by the coaching staff who currently plays for San Jose Earthquakes of MLS, and instead it will be used to pay off debts, so they also do not guarantee if they will seek any player in the 6 days remaining in the deadline.
