Their aim is to raise awareness of the return programs and connect attendees with the Galician business network.
The Xunta de Galicia organizes job fairs in Buenos Aires with job opportunities for emigrants and Galician descendants.
On March 6 and 7 in Argentina job fairs organized by the Xunta de Galicia will take place. At these events, Galician companies and business associations will offer permanent job positions as part of the Retorna Cualifica Empleo program. This initiative is part of the Estrategia Galicia Retorna, which aims to facilitate the return of emigrants and their descendants to their homeland.
Objective: connect companies with Galician talent abroad
The main purpose of the fairs is to promote the return programs and connect attendees with the Galician business network. Additionally, participants will be able to access job offers and take part in selection processes in strategic sectors such as ICT, agri-food, logistics, metalworking, and transportation.
The initiative also seeks to provide comprehensive advice, including information on how to access housing and support in the rental process, thus facilitating the decision to return.

Program and benefits of Retorna Cualifica Empleo
This program is aimed at Galician people residing abroad under 55 years old and has a budget of 2.3 million euros. Its goal is to ensure the return of at least 200 residents abroad with stable employment before the end of the year.
As a novelty, this edition has incorporated specific aids to facilitate access to housing rental, a key factor for the reintegration process in Galicia.

Interested parties can attend the fairs at the following locations and times:
Buenos Aires, Argentina:
- Date: Thursday, March 6 and Friday, March 7.
- Location: Club Español (Bernardo de Irigoyen 172).

In addition to job interviews, the event will include lectures, workshops, and specialized activities, allowing attendees to gain in-depth knowledge of the job and housing opportunities available in Galicia.
