After 18 years of love and having established themselves as one of the most beloved couples in Argentine show business, Gimena Accardi and Nicolás Vázquez decided to go their separate ways in mid-September.
Until now, both had been very careful and respectful when speaking about each other. However, this week, in an interview with SQP (América TV), hosted by Yanina Latorre, the actress spoke for the first time about her ex-husband's new relationship with Dai Fernández.
"I'm doing very well, working a lot. That keeps me busy and happy", Gimena began, appearing relaxed and grateful, while the panelists highlighted her positive energy.
When Latorre asked her if she felt more emotionally recovered after the separation, the artist replied calmly: "Yes, little by little. Honestly, yes, better".
The most anticipated moment of the interview came when the host directly asked her how she had taken the news of the budding romance between Vázquez and Fernández. True to her style, Gimena did not avoid the question: "If he's doing well, I'm doing well", she stated.
"I wish him and Dai all the best from the bottom of my heart. You'll never hear me speak ill of Nico", she added, making it clear the respect she still keeps for her ex. However, many users on X pointed out that her face seemed tense and that even in many of her positive responses she shook her head, a body language cue that would indicate not everything is as happy as it appears.

She also had very complimentary words for Fernández, the actress with whom her ex shares the stage. "Dai is a sweetheart, a wonderful, beautiful, and talented person", she assured without hesitation. "They've always been very good friends and I understand that, in the support they've given each other, you can fall in love or feel things. Good for them, I'm glad", she added pointedly.
