Goncho Banzas stepped down from Pergolini's show and explained the reasons.

The streamer explained why he is leaving Dejá que entre el sol, denied rumors, and hinted at new directions

Streamer Gonzalo "Goncho" Banzas surprised his Twitch community by announcing that he will no longer be part of Dejá que entre el sol, the morning show hosted by Mario Pergolini on Vorterix. In a live broadcast, he explained the reasons behind his decision, which he attributed mainly to personal and professional motives.

"Today I didn't go to the show because I'm not going to go to the show anymore," he said bluntly. Although he anticipated that his absence would generate criticism, he was emphatic: "I know they're going to insult me because the show is fun and all, but no..."

Goncho clarified that his return from Miami was not accidental, but a deliberate decision to step away from the project. "I came back because I wanted to step aside. I thought it was the best thing for me," he stated. Despite his departure, he acknowledged that he will miss the daily routine of the show: "It was a lot of fun to go to the show every day."

Although he avoided giving concrete details, he emphasized that there were no internal conflicts: "Behind these things, a lot of stories are made up... that this happened, that Mario said this or that. Nothing like that. None of that happened."

The reason behind his departure: autonomy, routines, and a role that did not fit

The streamer also shared that the change in routine was good for him. "What I liked most was getting up early. Today I woke up at 10 in the morning and I think that's something good for my life," he said, revealing a personal side that many of his followers appreciate.

Regarding the professional aspect, Goncho was honest about his expectations within the team. "My role, or the role I would like to have within a show, is very similar to Mario's role. I would like to be the main host, the one who decides what the show is about," he explained. He added: "I suppose that because I'm a streamer, I like to have control. It was very hard for me not to have it."

With this decision, Banzas is starting a new professional stage focused on his creative autonomy, distancing himself from one of the most influential figures in both traditional and digital media, such as Mario Pergolini.

Without mentioning thanks or gestures toward the creator of Vorterix, the streamer hints at a paradigm shift: that of a generation that prefers to build its own spaces rather than adapt to already established logics.
