Google is making a strong bet on smart health with the arrival of Gemini to Fitbit. The platform is being transformed to offer a personal AI coach that converses with users about their physical condition, sleep, and well-being.
The experience will initially be available in the United States and aims to change the way we take care of ourselves and train every day.

How the new Fitbit with Gemini works
The system collects your data and interprets it with advanced artificial intelligence models. This way, it can recommend routines, interpret metrics, and even understand your daily habits.
It is activated from the floating button "Ask the coach" within the app and allows chat queries in natural language.
Three experts in a single app
Fitness: creates personalized plans according to your goals and available time. It also adjusts exercises based on injuries or busy routines.
Sleep: analyzes patterns, stages, and quality of rest to suggest improvements.
Well-being: monitors heart rate, breathing, temperature, weight, and more.

Everything can be consulted with simple phrases. "Create a 30-minute routine for me in the hotel room" or "Why did I sleep so poorly last night?".
Requirements to use the new Fitbit

The idea is for the AI coach to function as a real sports and health support team.
