The Government of Javier Milei formalized the allocation of more than 30 billion pesos for all Volunteer Firefighter associations in the country.
Through Resolution 272/2025, published in the Official Gazette, it was stipulated that these resources be allocated for the acquisition of equipment, supplies, and other essential elements for firefighting.
During the early morning, the measure that will allow fire stations across the country to expand their supply availability was approved after the signature of the Minister of National Security, Patricia Bullrich.
According to Article 1 of the resolution, it was established: "Allocate to the VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTER ASSOCIATIONS, as first-degree entities, the sum of PESOS THIRTY-ONE BILLION THREE HUNDRED TWENTY-SEVEN MILLION ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY-TWO THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED FORTY-ONE WITH TWELVE CENTS ($31,327,182,741.12) distributed among the NINE HUNDRED NINETY-SIX (996) entities."

Although the global budget exceeds 31 billion pesos, the Government specified that each Volunteer Firefighter unit will receive a total of $31,452,994.72.
It was also emphasized that these funds must be used exclusively for the purchase of equipment, clothing, firefighting tools, and other essential materials for civil protection. They may also be allocated for the conservation and maintenance of these resources, ensuring their optimal functioning.
Additionally, the Minister of Security approved the delivery of an additional amount allocated to each provincial firefighter federation. In this regard, it was reported that this allocation will amount to $2,409,783.29.08 and must be used to cover operational expenses, institutional representation, compliance with the provisions established in Law No. 25,054, and for the training and education of both volunteer firefighters and the leaders of each entity.
Meanwhile, Milei's Government announced that a total of $803,261,090.12 will be allocated to the Federal Articulation Secretariat, with the aim of enabling it to perform its supervisory functions over each entity, establish regional control centers, acquire equipment, cover administrative expenses, and train instructors.
