Alec Oxenford confirmed that the meeting will take place from March 15 to 17, 2027, and will aim to attract investments in energy, mining, technology, and artificial intelligence
The government of Javier Milei announced a new edition of Argentina Week in the United States for March 2027, aiming to deepen the arrival of international investments and consolidate the country's positioning as a destination for large productive projects. The event will take place from March 15 to 17 in New York and will feature participation from some of the leading banks, investment funds, and representatives from the technology and financial sectors.
The announcement was made by the Argentine ambassador to the United States, Alec Oxenford, who confirmed that the upcoming event will have the backing of JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, Kaszek, and Citibank. Strategic partners will also include Americas Society/Council of the Americas, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and AmCham Argentina.
This initiative is part of the government's international strategy to showcase the business opportunities that Argentina offers and attract capital to strategic sectors. Following the initial experiences in New York and Paris, the libertarian administration aims to turn Argentina Week into a global platform to connect companies, investors, and productive projects.
Argentina Week 2027 will seek investments in Vaca Muerta, mining, and artificial intelligence
The next edition will have an expanded agenda, with special attention to energy, mining, infrastructure, agribusiness, and technology. Among the main opportunities that the government plans to present are the development of Vaca Muerta, liquefied natural gas (LNG) projects, and the exploitation of critical minerals such as lithium, copper, gold, and silver.
Biotechnology and artificial intelligence will also take center stage, two sectors in which Argentina seeks to increase its international participation. The agenda will include opportunities related to data centers, software, technological talent, and the country's integration into global value chains.

Another project that will be part of the presentations will be the Andes-Atlantic Corridor, an infrastructure initiative aimed at strengthening the connection between productive regions and international markets.
"We want to connect real projects with those who have the capital, technology, and capacity to make them a reality," Oxenford stated while presenting the guidelines for the new call.
The ambassador also highlighted that New York offers a strategic setting due to its relevance within the international financial system. The official intention is for Argentina Week to establish itself as an annual meeting for entrepreneurs, investment funds, and technology leaders interested in Argentina's productive potential.
"In 2027, we will multiply its reach and elevate Argentina's presence on the global investment map to a new scale," the diplomat asserted.
The precedent of Argentina Week 2026: over USD 16 billion in investments
The first edition of Argentina Week took place in New York from March 9 to 12, 2026, and saw significant participation from the private sector. According to data released by Oxenford, the event recorded over 410 participants per day, representatives from 210 organizations, 128 CEOs, 42 company founders, and 26 board chairs.
Additionally, there were over 500 investors on the waiting list, and more than 1,200 business interactions were realized. As a result of the efforts and announcements made during the week, investments exceeding USD 16 billion were communicated.

The head of the Central Bank, Santiago Bausili, also participated with a delegation of over 30 Argentine entrepreneurs.
The agenda included presentations from companies such as YPF, Pan American Energy, Vista, Pampa Energía, Mercado Libre, Globant, Ualá, and Vercel. Representatives from various productive and financial sectors also participated.
The closing day included provincial governors, who presented investment opportunities in energy, mining, and infrastructure. Vaca Muerta, LNG, energy exports, and critical minerals were the focus of many presentations.
The Paris edition brought together 13 governors and announced projects worth USD 27 billion
The second edition of Argentina Week took place in Paris from September 30 to October 2, 2026, with the purpose of expanding the arrival of European capital. The event was organized by the Argentine Embassy in France, led by Ian Sielecki, in coordination with the Presidency.
Milei led a delegation composed of national officials and 13 governors, who presented investment opportunities in their provinces to entrepreneurs and executives from international companies.
The activities took place in venues such as the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), the International Energy Agency, and the International Chamber of Commerce. Representatives from companies such as TotalEnergies, ENI, Glencore, Rio Tinto, Eramet, Santander, and Louis Dreyfus Company participated, along with Argentine companies like YPF, Pampa Energía, Globant, and Cresud.
At the end of the meeting, the government announced investment agreements totaling approximately USD 27 billion, with initiatives related to hydrocarbons, energy, mining, and infrastructure. Among the mentioned projects were those from TotalEnergies, Pan American Energy, Pluspetrol, LVMH, Hitachi Group, and Huttopia.
The new call in New York aims to deepen that path and strengthen the link between Argentina and the world's major financial centers. With the agenda of economic reforms, openness to investments, and the incentives of the RIGI as part of its strategy, the Milei government aims to transform international interest into new projects, production, exports, and employment.
