The chancellor Pablo Quirno kicked off the Argentina Week in Paris, the new edition of the meeting promoted by the Government of Javier Milei to present business opportunities and attract foreign investments to Argentina.
The opening took place at the Argentine Embassy in France and brought together businesspeople, officials, and governors. Among the guests was the French Minister of Economy, Roland Lescure, who also held a meeting with the Minister of Economy, Luis Caputo. During his speech, the European official invited Argentine businesspeople to use Paris as a gateway to the European market.
The meeting serves as a prelude to the sessions that will take place at the OECD headquarters, where the participation of President Javier Milei, Caputo, and the head of the Central Bank, Santiago Bausili, is expected. The agenda will focus on key areas such as energy, mining, agriculture, technology, and artificial intelligence.
Argentina Week aims to bring together national and provincial authorities with Argentine businesspeople and executives from French and European companies to present the available commercial and investment opportunities in the country. The meeting features broad representation from the provinces: 13 governors and the vice governor of Córdoba participated in the launch, along with officials from the national Cabinet.
