The Ministry of Health of the Nation, through the National Administration of Laboratories and Health Institutes “Dr. Carlos G. Malbrán” (ANLIS Malbrán), signed a framework agreement for institutional collaboration with Productos Roche S.A.Q.e.I. to advance in projects related to prevalent infectious diseases in Argentina.
The agreement establishes a space for coordination between the public and private sectors to promote knowledge generation, develop new scientific tools, and contribute to improving patient prevention and care. At the same time, the initiative aims to favor a more efficient use of available resources.
The Minister of Health of the Nation, Mario Lugones, highlighted the scope of the agreement and linked it to a strategy for strengthening cooperation between the State and companies.

As Lugones explained, the framework agreement “represents a further step in strengthening a public-private alliance in which the knowledge and scientific capacity of ANLIS Malbrán are put at the service of innovation and the development of health products.”
The official of the Government of Javier Milei also stated that the initiative responds to a vision that seeks to expand the impact of health activity on the economy. In this regard, he affirmed that “it is part of a vision that seeks for health to be a driver of development, investment, and growth for Argentina.”
New tools for detecting infectious diseases
One of the main objectives established in the agreement is to strengthen the country's capacity to detect and characterize infectious agents.
