The confidence generated by the economic direction of Javier Milei translates into concrete facts: the arrival of thousands of jobs thanks to an excellence that, as demonstrated by Emiliano Martínez, the world is rewarding once again. The Deputy Minister of Economy, José Luis Daza, recently revealed how the country's image has shifted to that of a reliable and highly skilled partner

The official exemplified this international confidence through a viral video of Emiliano “Dibu” Martínez during the 2026 World Cup, where the goalkeeper demonstrated fluent English while interacting with the press from Bangladesh. For Daza, this episode is irrefutable proof of the “extraordinary human capital” that the country possesses, a factor that was decisive for a U.S. company to decide to establish 18,000 jobs on Argentine soil, dismissing other options in Latin America.

The American firm based its decision on a key fact: Argentina is the “country in the continent with the best command of English and computational skills”. This excellence is not a coincidence, but the result of individual effort and the pursuit of improvement, values that “Dibu” Martínez himself embodies. The goalkeeper recounted that he learned the language under the demand of his former coach Arsène Wenger, who offered him a bonus of 20,000 pounds if he passed an exam from Cambridge University, a challenge he overcame after a year of intense study.

This spirit of improvement aligns with the goalkeeper's vision of the national present. Shortly after the current administration took office, Martínez expressed his support for the political change of direction: “I see Argentina well. For years it was very bad, but now things are changing so that it can improve. You always have hopes, I hope there is a change”. His words resonate today in an economy that, far from the previous stagnation, shows compelling figures:

The knowledge-based services sector exported more than USD 9.6 billion in 2025.

Professional Services lead with USD 6.5 billion (63.7% of the total), followed by IT Services with nearly USD 3 billion.

Argentina now ranks 42nd among global exporters, surpassing regional powers like Brazil, Mexico, and Colombia.

The local growth of 11.7% doubles the average of South America (6.87%).

The global demand for Argentine talent is unstoppable. According to the consulting firm Deel, interest in local professionals grew by 25% in 2025, with an explosion of 283% in the search for AI trainers (artificial intelligence specialists). As Leandro Mora Alfonsin from Argencon pointed out, the quality of national talent allows “to compete in markets regardless of their macroeconomic moment”, although today, with a government that guarantees predictability and financial order, the ceiling seems non-existent. Argentina, alongside its idols and its most skilled workers, has finally decided to play —and win— in the big leagues of the world.
