Guido Kaczka broke his silence regarding the arrival of Pampita as host of Los 8 Escalones and surprised with his response. In a conversation with Intrusos (América), he explained how the decision to choose Carolina Ardohain for a central role in El Trece's classic show came about.
During the interview, Adrián Pallares asked him directly how they chose the model: “How did you choose Pampita's name, who was a judge for a long time? It's a big role to fill.”
Kaczka acknowledged that the network already intended to continue with the show, which over the years has become a registered trademark. “There was the idea to continue Escalones, which has become a classic, and we were thinking how, in what way...” he replied.
Pampita, the one chosen among many names
Guido clarified that, due to his multiple commitments with radio and television, he could not be in charge of the program. That's why they began to evaluate options. It was in that context that Pampita's name came up.
“We discussed it with the network, they liked it, and now we're doing everything so that it turns out in the best possible way,” he explained about the decision to choose the model, who had already hosted El Hotel de los Famosos on the same channel.
